Visit Heron Lodge Bed
and Breakfast, Award Winning
Four-Star Accommodation in Stratford Upon
Avon
Conveniently situated just over a mile from
Stratford town centre and within walking distance
of Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Heron Lodge is a
clean and comfortable detached family home where
Chris and Bob Heaps extend a warm and friendly welcome
to their guests.
Our four star rating from Visit Britain, plus our 'Inspired Breakfast' and Hearbeat awards
reflect our high standards of accommodation,
cuisine and customer care. We are the only B&B in Stratford to have been given a Heartbeat award for our breakfasts, and we are recommended as a good
value place to stay in the prestigious Fodor's Guide.
We
have double bedrooms, a twin, and a family suite
(two interconnecting rooms), all of which are
tastefully decorated and furnished to a high
standard. All rooms have en-suite facilities.
An
attractive conservatory overlooking the pretty
garden is a popular place for peaceful relaxation,
and here you will find a variety of reading
material, games, maps and tourist information
for Stratford, the Cotswolds and surrounding
areas.
A
more comprehensive stock of local tourist information
can be found in our bright dining room, where
a breakfast of your choice is served daily.
Choose from freshly prepared fruit, juices,
cereals, yoghurts, full English breakfast, our
own recipe syrup pancakes, continental breakfast,
etc., followed by toast and preserves.
Children aged five and over are very welcome
at Heron Lodge and we can always find some games
to keep them occupied!
We have ample secluded private car parking,
and for those visitors who do not have their
own transport, a bus stops near the house at
regular intervals on a circular route to the
town centre. For guests arriving by train, we
offer a free pick-up service from the station.

Chris and Bob are always on hand to help you
plan your days, book theatre tickets, etc. Having
previously lived in the Cotswolds, they are
well able to assist you in finding the most
interesting places to visit to make the most
of your stay. Apart from the many attractions
of Stratford, with its Shakespearean properties,
theatre, riverside walks and wonderful array
of shops, the surrounding area provides numerous
opportunities for visiting stately homes, charming
villages, antique and craft centres, and for
peaceful Cotswold walks. Warwick castle is easily
accessible from Heron Lodge and there are several
National Trust properties to visit.
Please note that Heron Lodge is a No Smoking
house. Regrettably, we are unable to accept
pets, but guide dogs and hearing dogs are welcome.
